This book is a collection of essays by international writer Bapsi Sidhwa gathered for the first time in one edition by Teresa Russo, with a foreword written by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Deepa Mehta. Landscapes of Writing: Collected Essays of Bapsi Sidhwa provides a writer’s perspective on issues of South Asian literature, linguistics, poetry, and views of political events and globalization. In the first part of the book, Bapsi Sidhwa discusses her childhood, family life, and how she became a writer. The second part of the book focuses on her thoughts concerning war, terrorism, and how to achieve peace. This collection includes two letters, demonstrating her local and nationalistic perspectives to a larger view of an interconnected world.

Teaching the Middle Ages (TMA) is an online educational initiative founded in 2016 by Dr. Teresa Russo to support teachers, students, and lifelong learners in exploring medieval history, literature, and culture. Designed as a forum for educators and anyone curious about the Middle Ages, TMA provides accessible, classroom-ready teaching materials, story maps, original art and literature resources, and curated packets that introduce learners to key medieval topics and texts. Through collaborative student work and award‑recognized initiatives, the project supports meaningful, imaginative ways of exploring the medieval world.

Host a Literary Gathering with Friends
This Reading Cirlce explores major works from Homer to Shakespeare to modern and contemporary authors, tracing how world authors shaped enduring themes of heroism, morality, love, and human identity. Through guided discussion with a literary expert, participants compare cultures and storytelling traditions, discovering how great literature reflects and transforms the societies that created it. Readings may include selections from Homer, Virgil, Augustine, Marie de France, Christine de Pizan, Dante, Chaucer, Shakespeare, Nizami Ganjavi, F. Scott Fitzgerald and your favorite authors.
Participants choose a text and may also choose to gather at a local restaurant or within your residential community for a relaxed “Pages & Prosecco” experience—reading together, sharing conversation, and enjoying a glass of prosecco as we explore great literature in good company. Books are available in audio format or can be purchased online; a link will be provided.
